Pausology was created by Dr. Claudia Levine, a primary care physician, and Kate MacLaughlin, a Sexual & Reproductive Health Nurse Practitioner. Despite being experienced medical providers, they felt caught off guard by their own experience of perimenopause. They realized they needed to do something to address the gap in care around hormonal health in our current healthcare system. Pausology was created with the mission to offer a better way of educating and supporting people during this phase of life.

Pausology is an educational course and a community space. It provides the resources and information you need to navigate perimenopause and menopause, feeling informed, prepared, and supported.
It includes a self-paced online modular course that can be listened to or read. Each module has a companion Resource section with links to everything discussed in the module and a Next Steps exercise designed to help you reflect on what’s happening, identify what you want to address, and take action if needed.
Pausology’s Menoposse Circles are a virtual gathering place to connect with others experiencing perimenopause and menopause, share resources, and offer and receive peer support. Our Menoposse Circles are facilitated by Pausology’s co-founders, Dr. Claudia Levine . They offer a way to get your questions answered and connect with members of our Menoposse.
